Pilot
Lounge
On the General
Aviation side of the airfield (southwest side), a pilot's lounge
is located in the building nearest the flag pole just left of
Modesto Flight Center. If you are exiting the airfield via the
pedestrian gate, be sure to record
the gate’s cipher lock combination so that you can regain
entry to the airport on your return.
Transient
Aircraft Parking
Visiting
pilots will find aircraft parking areas on the southwest and
northeast sides of the airport. Pavement strength on the
southwest apron (General Aviation side) are for aircraft
weighing less than 12,500 lbs.
Pilots of large aircraft, those
weighing more than 12,500 lbs., must park on the northeast
aircraft ramp located between the Tower and Terminal. Do not
attempt to exit the airfield through the airlines' restricted
area at the terminal. You may exit the airfield via a pedestrian
gate, located near the tie-downs. Before exiting, be sure to
record the cipher lock combination for re-entry. You may obtain
ground transportation (Hertz, Avis and taxis) inside the
terminal.
Aircraft parked overnight are charged a parking fee as
follows:
Single Engine

$6.00 per day
Small Twin Engine
$8.00 per day
Large Multi-engine
$12.00 per day
